Producing pottery is a deep-rooted craft (of Iberian and Muslim origin) in some villages in Terres de l’Ebre like Miravet (Ribera d’Ebre), Tivenys (Baix Ebre) and La Galera (Montsià). In fact, at the end of the 20th century there were some twenty potters making earthenware jugs, plant-pots, jugs and kitchen utensils. Today, although this profession is much diminished from what it was, it is still alive. Ceramics from MiravetCeramics is one of the oldest traditional crafts in the village of Miravet
