The region Terres de l'Ebre has got quite a few rock paintings of Levantine style, characterized by the schematic line and the sensation of movement of figures. You can find them in Ulldecona, Freginals, Tivissa and El Perelló. In 1998, all these caves were declared Patrimony of Humanity by the UNESCO.
