The character and culture of Terres de l’Ebre is reflected in religious festivals, in music, dance and folklore. Processions, theatrical performances, pilgrimages, “Rondalla” and “Jota” songs or popular bull-runs are some of the festive elements which can typically be found in this area of unique ethnographic interest which more than anything-else invites participation: get out onto the streets and join in the party!
Terres de l'Ebre has a calendar full of leisure activities. Music or cinema festivals, popular festivities or theatrical performances - like the Passion of Christ or live nativity scenes – stimulate cultural interest in the Ebre regions, and at the same time, bring lots of variety which adapts to different tastes.
The public can therefore, enjoy classical or jazz music, electronic rhythms, traditional tunes, popular and experimental theatre and cinema, among many other artistic activities. All in all, multi-sectorial and specialized fairs have become a way to promote the economy and culture of many towns in Terres de l'Ebre.
