Olla de Recapte (Stew)

Ingredients for 4 persons:

400g chickpeas
400g potatoes
200g ox cheek
100g fresh pork
4 dry blood sausages
2 spicy sausages
Pigs trotter
Pig's ear
1 piece of chicken
1 ham bone
Carrots
1 Leek
1 Onion
200g thick soup
Salt.

Directions:
The day before making this dish leave the chickpeas in water overnight to soften them. Boil the chickpeas in a large saucepan. Gradually add the other ingedients beginning with those which take longer to cook: start with the ham bone, piece of chicken, pig's trotter and ear, ox cheek and then the fresh pork. Add the dry blood sausages, carrots, leek, and onion. Finally, when there is only ten minutes cooking time left, add the chopped potatoes, the spicy sausages and the thick soup. Check for salt.
