THE ISLANDS ON THE EBRO
During the trip along the river Ebro you can see some islands that are small important natural ecosystems. The islands we can find in the top stretch of the river Ebro are:
Island de la Mitjana, Sebes in Flix
Island d'Ascó Island Beanta, Vinebre
Island Subarrec and Galatxo, Móra d'Ebre - Móra la Nova
Island de Les Sénies and
Island de Benissanet, in Benissanet
Island of the Illetes, in Miravet Island Nap, Cataula, Benifallet and El Coet, in Benifallet
Island Xerta, in Xerta
Island Aldover, in Aldover
Island Audí, in Bítem - Tortosa
Island de Jesus, in Tortosa
In the low stretch, we find islands like the island of els Bous, Gràcia, Sant Antoni and Buda (placed just in the mouth). The last two ones are spaces protected because of their environmental importance, that’s why the visit is restricted.
