BEACHES AND HARBOURS WITH A BLUE FLAG

Seven beaches in Terres de l’Ebre have been awarded a blue flag; this is a distinction which recognizes the quality of the water, safety and lifeguard service. The leisure harbours at L'Ampolla and L'Ametlla de Mar also have blue flags, which were awarded because of respectful management of the environment.  Each year, when the summer season gets close the Associació d’Educació Ambiental i del Consumidor (Environmental Education and Consumers Association - www.fee-international.org) publishes a list of beaches and leisure harbours which have been recognized with this award of quality.
