River beaches
Along the course of the Ebre River, you will find lots of small, usually pebbly, river beaches in the clearings of the riverbank forest. They are almost virgin areas which are ideal for swimming during the summer, as they aren't very deep and the water is very calm. They can be found in Tortosa, Bítem, Garcia, Aldover and Miravet, as well as at Xerta Dam and Tivenys and the Riba-roja and Flix Reservoir.
