The Sant Jaume de l'Ebre trail crosses the regions of Montsià, Baix Ebre and Terra Alta and enters Aragón and La Rioja, to join the French trail in Logroño.

This route starts in the village of Deltebre, and follows the course of the river through Amposta, Tortosa, Aldover and Xerta. Before arriving in Benifallet, it turns onto the trail bordering Canaletes River, passes by La Fontcalda Sanctuary and goes to Gandesa along the Navarro Valley trail. There it reaches Batea, and soon after enters the region of Aragón.
