It is precisely for this, that Terres de l'Ebre have promoted various cultural and touristic routes which make visitors aware of the heritage and identity of the Ebre region. You can follow old paths along the Ebre River, discover archaeological remains from the Iberian age, look at fortresses built by the Templars, or find out about places where some of the most tragic episodes of the Spanish Civil War took place; these are just some of the attractions on offer in this southern Catalan region.
