The Montsià Mountain is situated in the the south of Terres de l'Ebre and parallel to the Mediterranean coast. It spreads from the river Ebro (in the north) up to the river Sénia (in the south). Its highest summit is Pic del Montsià (764 m), although one of the most charismatic summits is La Foradada (almost 700 m on the sea level). It is a magnificent natural lookout on the Delta de l'Ebre. There are lots of shrubs in the beautiful calcareous land. The villages and towns Alcanar, Ulldecona, Freginals, Amposta and Sant Carles de la Ràpita are very near.
