YOU CAN HELP THE ENVIRONMENT
Respect natural resources and help to preserve the environment. To follow, you will find some advice:

Pay attention to signs and respect areas where access is forbidden, especially at nesting time (from February to August inclusive).

Try to keep to the paths, routes and watch towers for bird watching and photography. Avoid entering natural areas.

Use binoculars to watch animals from a reasonable distance so as not to disturb them.

Leave the environment as clean as you found it. Pick up your litter and use the rubbish bins.

You cannot disturb, destroy or take any animal or plant, whether it is dead or alive from a nature reserve.

Dogs without a lead frighten birds, and are forbidden at nature reserves.

Avoid camping in prohibited areas or sleeping in bird watch towers.

Leave your vehicle in the parking spaces provided or near roads where there is enough space, so that you do not disturb the peace.

You can advise people, in a friendly way, if they do not obey the basic rules, especially if they enter prohibited areas.

For your own hygiene, avoid touching dead animals. If you think you see an endangered species which has died in suspicious circumstances, or a wounded animal, tell a forest ranger. Tel. (0034) 977 70 62 61

It is important to note the information of ringed birds you find dead and send it to oficina.anillas@dgcn.mma.es or to the head office of the National park you are visiting.

If you see any abnormalities, dead animals, illegal hunting, a fire etc. Tell the forest rangers: Tel. (0034) 977 70 62 61 or Seprona (Service for the Protection of Nature) Tel. (0034) 977 50 01 08.
